Last week US stocks tumble in worst week since August as fed anxiety spreads. Poor’s 500 Index fell 3.8 percent in the five days to end at a two-month low. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) jumped 156 points (0.9%) to 17,525, the S&P 500 Index rallied 21 points (1.1%) to 2,043, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 43 points (0.9%) to 4,995. In heavy volume 973 million shares were traded on the NYSE and 2.0 billion shares changed hands.
